RED Company will develop the new Danone Netherlands Global Headquarters which will embrace the company’s “One Planet. One Health”. The new office consisting of approximately 8,300m2 LFA will be developed in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. The building is designed by the international acknowledged architecture firm Powerhouse Company which is also responsible for the concept design.
Currently based in WTC Schiphol, the new state-of-the-art office building with a strong focus on sustainability and health is designed by architecture firm Powerhouse Company. Construction is set to start mid November and the building is expected to be delivered in end of February 2019. The new office will become an attractive, healthy, collaborative and cost efficient workplace which will reflect the Danone “One Planet, One Health” ambition.
The design team will create a building that is not only beneficial for its surroundings by saving energy, water and reducing CO2 emissions, but also embodies Danone’s commitments in terms of disciplined resources allocation, while ensuring the well-being of its employees by focussing on a healthy interior climate and a comfortable, diverse working environment. Located in Hoofddorp, Beukenhorst-South, the office for Danone will become part of one of the most sustainable office parks in the Netherlands.
In-between the new Danone office and the new ASICS office, a serene park will be realised where both companies and their employees will benefit from this clear connection with nature. The immediate surroundings of the office are formed by green zones, footpaths and gardens. The chosen location is one of the most visible plots in the area. This will ensure visitors and passers-by can easily identify and find their way to the new office. RED Company is the leading developer of the new office for Danone.
DVP is in charge of the technical coordination of the project, working in an integrated engineering team with Deerns for installations, sustainability and the smart building concept, IMd for structural engineering and DGMR for building physics. LAP Landscape & Urban Desing is responsible for the landscape design. During the entire development process, RED Company will be legally advised by Loyens & Loeff. The contractor is Pleijsier Bouw. Cushman & Wakefield advises Danone throughout the whole process. Source and images Courtesy of RED Company.
