Los Angeles Union Station Master PlanGrimshaw, in partnership with Gruen Associates, is leading the design for the Los Angeles Union Station Master Plan. The scheme preserves the celebrated qualities of the historic station and its surrounding 17 hectares while addressing the urgent needs of the future.
Los Angeles Union Station Master PlanThe master plan includes a new passenger concourse which will provide a large-scale civic space for passengers and related support functions and amenities.
Los Angeles Union Station Master PlanAdditionally, a new bus facility will consolidate local and regional bus functions, bringing passengers in closer proximity to additional modes of transport.
Los Angeles Union Station Master PlanOther enhancements include improved wayfinding and a more efficient layout with flexibility for future growth that might include the placement of high speed rail service at or near Union Station.
