Moran Folly 2016 is to expand Moran Museum’s area to various art fields under the slogan ” Moran, The New Art Platform”.

This folly project is designed in order to create energetic and dynamic spaces that could be occupied by the public in the middle of the Moran Museum Garden, under the main theme “Peaceful Dynamics”.

Levitation of four weighty masses via structural tension is expressed around peaceful nature of Moran Museum Garden. These masses are supported by systematic tectonics of scaffolding structure, creating lively and dynamic architectural tension.

The visitors engage with tense balance of levitating masses created by dynamic scaffolding structure, yet experience spatial peacefulness of one’s surroundings via exposure to openness of the structure. Source by BEOMKI LEE.
