In 2013 the group PRD Office entrusted Philippe Chiambaretta / PCA with the conception and implementation of an ambitious office complex with a Bepos / BREEAM Excellent certification in an area of 24,000 m2.

Located in the heart of the economic district of Issy-les-Moulineaux, the project fits into the larger urban program the Grand Paris.

The project frees itself from the standard closed block and releases alignments to digress from the nuisance of the train bridge while leveraging maximum sunlight.

The shape of the tripod provides courtyard and garden spaces which open to the streets.

This typology offers optimal functionality concentrating on vertical circulation in the center core, then distributing three perfectly autonomous wings.

Autonomy pushed through to the installation of CTA specific Air Handling Units for each wing in order to minimize the pressure losses and optimize sizing and loading of equipment.

In addition to a geothermal program, photovoltaic panels on the roof provides significant energy savings.

With these devices and careful design of its envelope, the building exudes a surplus of energy (BEPOS). Source and images, Courtesy of Philippe Chiambaretta / PCA.
