SOU, the school of architecture for children of Farm Cultural Park, is honored to announce the new and exciting collaboration with an important international institution.
Not only will the Polytechnic University of Milano, but also the well-known IAAC (Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) will take part in the programme 2017-2018 of the SOU entitled CIVIC HACKING-Building Better Citizens.
During the second term, “Emotional Technology”, the SOU will host three international teachers, Christian Rizzuti, Aldo Sollazzo and Marco Ingrassia for four lessons in February.
The teachers will hold lessons on Arduino (February 2), 3D Printing (February 9), Drones (February 16) and Gamification (February 23), which will involve the students of the SOU in an extraordinary learning experience of the new technologies with the method learning by doing, in which playing, fantasy and creativity have a main role, together with spontaneity and the digital know-how in all of the millennials.
The director of the SOU Francesco Lipari is thrilled about the collaboration with IAAC: “It is a great opportunity for the SOU. IAAC has always done research on the effects of the new technology and how these change our way of living, socializing and constructing and thanks to its experts and the innovation of its research, the children will have the possibility to learn the utility and the correct use of technology in everyday life”.
During the month of February, there will also be the second series of public conferences entitled “Emotional Technology” organized by Cityvision, Farm Cultural Park and Sou, in collaboration with the professional association of the Architects of Agrigento and the support of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
