Naschville will be the third city in the United States, after New York and Chigaco, where it will open a hotel-lifestyle brand created by Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, which is expected to break ground this spring. Virgin Hotels might have only just opened its doors in Chicago, but designs have already been revealed for their Nashville hotel, which is expected to open in autumn 2016.

Virgin Hotels Nashville will be located at the start of the city’s historic Music Row and will feature 240 chambers and grand chamber suites, along with 15 penthouse residential units. The ground floor will include Virgin Hotels’ signature space, The Commons Club, a hybrid lounge/bar, laidback study and restaurant with the vibe of a members only club, without the fees.

There will also be a live entertainment venue and outside veranda with sweeping views of the city and a rooftop pool offering an evolving food concept. “With Virgin Hotels Chicago now open and bustling, we’re thrilled to reveal our plans for our next property, Virgin Hotels Nashville,” CEO Raul Leal said.

“Partnering with BLUR Workshop and interior design firm, MarkZeff, has enabled us to incorporate our musical heritage and playful tone of voice into this new building, bringing something entirely different to the Nashville hotel scene.” As a tribute to Nashville’s culture and Virgin’s music heritage, the property will also bring music back to Music Row with a world-class recording studio designed by Michael Cronin.
