This is a proposal for the contest arquideas, Central Park Summer Pavilion. Central Park is the main meeting point for residents of New York, and the millions of visitors who frequent the city annually.
This entails that the activities carried out in the park are diverse and multiple locations. Therefore it is proposed to break the rigidity of a pavilion in various micro scenarios scattered throughout the park that make Xarxa Pavilion.
The pavilion is made up of several isolated, light and mobile elements that facilitate various activities separately wherever they are necessary, while together they provide what is needed to perform actions and representations.
Xarxa Pavilion achieves to expand the possibilities of a pavilion, involving visitors in both placement and in use. Source by José Miguel Asencio
