To envisage the concept for an aesthetically and functionally model 5-star hotel, capable of assert new forms of luxury, well-being, hospitality and comfort, in line with the “bleisure” trend in business tourism.
This was the request from l’Arca International, to which the team made by Claudio Beltrame, Luca Beltrame, Gabriele Pascutti and Erika Kosuta answered winning the first prize.
In the design process it was also requested to use sponsor’s product from brand like Axor and Porcelanosa Krion among the others, an opportunity to grips with key issues in the sector.
The choosen site was a generic urban context. The focus has been strongly oriented towards design and materiality. Space by space the atmospheres are stimulating and different, connected together by strong elements.
Every space has a designed element in Krion Solid Surface (the counter in the entrance and in the bar, the bed in the room, the bathroom’s furniture, the loungechair in the spa, the restaurant’s wall and the building’s facade) and this represent the leitmotiv of the project.
The ceiling in the restaurant and in the pool share the same dynamicity, even with different materials. The restaurant has a similar philosophy with the bar, where all the technicalities are hidden from the customers’ eye.
In the hotel room, the bed in solid surface, contain all the modern appliances in his structure, while silk curtains can be lowered thanks to a touch screen. Spa, pools and fitness area, developed on two levels, share a green wall. Source by Claudio Beltrame.
