The iconic legend of Lamborghini is celebrated trough a symbolic monument composed of three elements: two landmarks and the vibrant space captured between them.
The design is conceived as two pieces of a symbol split into equal halves – with a space-defining gesture – and open to create undulating, shimmering surfaces where the rupture occurred.
Elegant curves that generates the rupture, are derived from design evolution of Lamborghini super cars, which vibrates the space between the two landmarks and capture the DNA of the icon.
Oriented towards the Lamborghini museum and factory, the monument acts like a gate on the millenary roads of Sant’Agata Bolognese, a portal which celebrates the global triumph of the legend in 21st century.
As in the ancient Roman Empire victories and triumph were glorified by arches, columns and iconic landmarks were used to mark an important road, the proposed monument celebrates the speed, evolution and ongoing legend of the symbol. The frames captured by the 2 landmarks generates a spatial energy pulsing with vibrating lines, a gateway filled with history and automotive passion.
