Elements of Byron resort, stretching across fifty acres in Byron Bay with creek, lake, ponds, thirteen acres of littoral rainforest and two kilometres of absolute beach frontage on Belongil Beach, celebrates one year this month.
And with the Society of British Interior Designers International Design Awards “Best Hotel Design” Award already under their belt, there is much to celebrate. “Elements of Byron stands alone in the industry” noted the Judges.
“The upbeat and eclectic interior draws inspiration from water, fauna and human desire”. In October the 94 one and two bedroom “beach shacks” will be augmented with a further 99 mostly two bedroom deluxe villas opening in a new section of the property.
Surrounded by rainforest beside Belongil Beach and Belongil Creek, these homes away from home will provide privacy for families and creatives seeking inspiration from nature.
Guests will unwind in outdoor rooms with fireplaces and soak up the elements in verandah bathhouses, while enjoying Elements of Byron’s chic pool and leisure precincts along with a new adults only heated 25 metre pool with swim-up bar.
An Eco Education Centre with 500m2 of organic market gardens, off-grid with the exception of sewerage, will also open this year. Re-crafted from cabins from previous development on the site, the Centre will act as a hub for education on sustainable living including food production.
