Bogi Fabian first gained renown when her trademark UV and glow-in-the-dark murals went viral in early 2015 and became an internet sensation within only a matter of hours. Now she is back with her latest project, ‘multiluminous’.

A long process to develop a new technology
Bogi spent over 2 years to develop the technology enabling the mass production of her prints and paint kits. The budget from the crowdfunding campaign is to be used as the start of the mass printing process of the prints.

Supporters of her campaign are eligible for other, personalised, partly hand-made artpieces as well, elsewhere unavailable made-for-the-campaign prints, personal thanks from Bogi herself.

“It would be impossible to satisfy everyone’s wish on my behalf as it would take me over a century to fulfil all orders. But I can not ignore the people who keep contacting me on a daily basis and may not be able to afford this – frankly – expensive process.

Therefore, I came up with a solution to take my multiluminous art into production so that everyone can enjoy it on a relatively small budget.” says Bogi Fabian.

The crowdfunding campaign is aimed at starting the production of an already developed series of relatively inexpensive, glowing prints and wallpapers that are to be distributed globally. Inspired by the high demand for her hand-painted murals making use of what Bogi calls ‘multiluminism’.
