The starting point that defined the system of buildings comprising the Human Technopole was the establishment of a porous and complex ground system capable of creating an open urbanity composed of shared and interconnected spaces.
In this way, the buildings exhibit both correlation and individuality, reflecting the different research fields. The volumes occupy the available space, integrating with the ongoing transformation scale and dialoguing with what exists and what is yet to be created.
The “in between” space generated by three different volumes connected by a continuous plate on various levels characterizes a common and protected place.
It offers comfort to those who work in an environment that transcends traditional categories of internal and external space, thanks to a system of interconnected courtyards covered with glass and naturally ventilated, enabling year-round use.
