The hub is located in the very city of Gliwice (250 000 citizens) on app 4ha plot next to old railway station.
The main purpose is to re-arrange the transportation model of the city (messed locations – even in suburb, various , local providers as well as international and national services) – integrating all services – and provides them in one, well connected (nearby passing-by expressway) area .
Simple building solution are gathered together under massive timber shelter – a roof – being a symbol of complexed transportation connections as well.
The hub integrates bus services, national long ways services, train station, provides new fast lane tram servicing silesian megapolis, car parks, bike ways and bike – parking, shuttle bus to near-by airport and some commercial areas.
The solution brings up transportation efficiency improvement, travelling time optimization and citizens transportation capacity of the city. Source by AAG
