Nature Observatory of Monsanto – a Symbolic relationship
“The proposal confronts the pre-existence of the panoramic restaurant of Monsanto, enhancing its physical condition and the place as landscape reference.
The project is freed of all building elements of the building, retaining only what is considered founder of its virtues – structure.
Therefore proposes a new relationship between architecture and landscape in a construction able to support multiple activities.”

Traces of Senses
“The project considers the presence of the panoramic restaurant as a starting point for a broad reflection on the landscape of Monsanto Park, their accessibility and fruition.
Suggests a succession of atmospheres / landscape experiences in a poetic and sensory perspective through a subtle and delicate intervention, graphically presented with great quality.”

Centre for Nature Interpretation
“The solution highlights the inevitable relationship between the building and the surrounding landscape, anticipating a new experience through a boundary route.
It stands as a mediating element between the ruin condition and the inexorable force of nature.” Source and Images Cortesy of Arqfolium.
