The project moves into the new ecological city Sino Singapore built in the development of the city Tianjin to the sea, in a conurbation which should ultimately accommodate 30 million. This new city aims to show for China’s ability to develop in the North East of the country an inspired city by considerations that are both environmentally sustainable development but also industrial port platform of Tianjin.
The bridge is installed above a sky artificial lake created from the line on which the rice grow in city. There is no coercion or air worthiness particular template navigation, as we have seen here, we had to be as close to the water and in this extended and landscape design, install in the book direct contact with water, a continuation of large curves that underline the report on the horizon.
The book is constructed from large concrete shells 54 m span for a total length of 460 m. The twins and juxtaposed aprons allow reuse the same shuttering a dozen times. Here we extend the constructive vocabulary widely used in the 70s by developing with advanced computing structures and morphogenesis.
Here the large concrete structures thin veil form large domes inverted double curvature, which have a very strong resistance form. The book seems like floating in the lagoon landscape thanks to support differentiated system punctual that leave emerging structure of the large basins of curves and soft concrete in a very rigorous built environment.
In this project join special attention to the landscape and a very sophisticated structural development, possible in China in the specific report that between labor and technology. This meeting between the landscape attention, refinement structural and economic situation of China can develop here a unique project, gentle and attentive, generous and ambitious, whose dream it is still possible in the ” Old Europe “.
