NIZHNIE MNEVNIKI by Timur Bashkaev Architectural bureau

The combination of materials and lighting plays a key role in the project. Concrete is used as the basic material; it is coloured and finished in exposed way and is represented in the form of a front monolith and panels.

The basic conceptual elements are rectangular “counter items” of red colour fromed by the overlapped columns, which stand freely in the atrium, singly in each entrance hall.

They will play the role of a spatial dominant in entrance halls, being key items of platform zone and uniting those spaces visually.
TEREKHOVO by buromoscow

Abstract figures of people represent the central image of the station, a man as a dominant idea, a personality as the pillar of support, the bearing element of the State and society.

The concept is developed in general classical style, with the use of minimum quantity of details and a lot of light coming from round-shaped luminaires. Ground concrete, micro cement and granite slabs for the floor surface are used as finish materials.

The box over railway track is covered with polished steel sheets, it is also highlighted by LED strips throughout the length and dissipate the reflected light upon platforms. For the purpose of placing people’s silhouettes on the columns, light-reflecting paint will be applied. Source by Strelka KB.
