A cutting edge sustainible design to 2020 Expo guests Multi disipline design practice Marques & Jordy have designed a 800,000 sq.m masterplan for Dubai. The fashion city is from mega brand FTV and features high end retail, residential and a 5 star hotel
Located near the palm the development is inspired by the diamond. “A 3 storey retail podium cuts through the high rises at low level” explains design director Jon Sealey “ We wanted to exploit the views across the ocean and provide an exciting and vibrant development like nothing seen before in Dubai”
HIgh end residential towers are all fitted out with custom made furniture and finishes designed specifically for FTV by M&J. “ We have designed everything from the masterplan to the architecture to the plates and door handles, the whole project is completely congruient to the brand and the location” says company CEO Jordy Fu.
Inside a hair and makeup salon inspires customers to feel like a model and get treated with the latest fashion accessories. regular fashion shows and events will take place in expansive pedestrianised terrances and a series of rpooftop bars and clubs will off exclusive fashion style nightlife.
