I chose this project to design a land mark for my city, also to present the city and it’s local architecture to the world. The project is located in Misurata Libya, in the development area of the city, the nature of the ground is salty soil, yet has a lot of opportunities.

The concept is based on “Bernoulli principle” of floating air around the aircraft wing and trying to create a light shapes and design one part and repeat it seven times to present the seven continents of the word.

As for the idea of the mass, I tried to create floating lines, and use the traditional fabric of the Libyan Tent simulate the local Architecture, also to use the benefits of the fabric to protect the glass underneath from the weather changes, and also to simulate the nature of the ground which the project is located.
